Harriet has been taking our dog Heidi out for a walk whilst we’re at work for about a month now. Harriet is very friendly and professional and we immediately felt confident with her walking Heidi for us. She came on a practice walk with us initially and paid attention to how we manage Heidi and what her training needs are. We also completed a detailed form about her daily habits and routine, training and important information. Harriet is very reliable and will be happy to take Heidi out often at short notice. Heidi absolutely loves going for walks with Harriet and is always excited to see her. It is really reassuring to know Heidi is having fun and is safe whilst we’re at work. Harriet will send us photos of their walk together which are always lovely to see. We’re delighted with Harriet’s fantastic services and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker in Sheffield.

She now has a key to my house & will pop in to walk the dogs when we are struggling (often at the last minute), & when necessary will keep them overnight & have them home in time for our return the next day. My two dogs are always happy & usually very tired after a long walk when they come home.

We found out about Harriet via a friend we see walking dogs in the local park. Our previous dog walker had just pulled out and, working full days, we needed a solution pretty quickly – the timing was perfect. Harriet came to the house to meet us and we immediately felt comfortable with her looking after Buddy; liking and trusting her after just a short chat. The introductory process was comprehensive and I feel comfortable that Harriet is ready for anything that might happen to Buddy, and equally am confident that she’ll be in control – we went on a quick dog walk and Buddy was behaving and responding to her straight away. I’m delighted Harriet will be looking after Buddy – not only because he’ll be in good company for the day, but I genuinely think he’ll have a lovely time.

So when we were experiencing difficulties in one of us going home at lunch time to ensure Iagan had a toilet break we decided a dog sitter was needed. We contacted Harriet from Sheffield Dog Walkers as she came highly recommended. Harriet is very professional and trustworthy along with more importantly being very attentive towards our regime regarding Iagan. Upon Harriet’s first visit we completed a detailed form about the health and well being of Iagan, his training needs and daily habits, any medication and particular dietary requirements together with emergency contact numbers for the veterinary surgeon. Harriet visited us the evening before her first lunchtime visit to ensure she followed our usual routine and that we were comfortable with how Iagan reacted. We both feel at ease during the day at work knowing that Harriet is visiting Iagan, playing with him and generally breaking up his day by spending 30 minutes with him at lunchtime. Harriet has also been doing some training with Iagan, which has resulted in great success. I enjoy receiving photos of her visit and seeing Iagan enjoying himself. Harriet is extremely patient and has a calming manner, which makes us feel at ease knowing that Iagan is being cared for in our absence. We fully recommend Harriet’s services as a dog walker and sitter and we would not entrust anyone else to care for Iagan.

My parents have always looked after the dogs from being puppies, as Lily can be a bit feisty, but my parents are getting older and not always able to have the dogs. I was looking for someone whom I trust and also has the right attitude to look after my pride and joys. Harriet is perfect for the job, she takes a slow sensitive approach with Lily and lots of fun and games with Tarquie. She always does the things I ask with dietary needs and manages to get them to have any medication they require. It is a huge relief to have her around, she is always reliable, and I don’t ever worry about the dogs being left. So thank you Harriet.
